Supporting Black Professionals in Life Sciences (BPLS)

We were absolutely thrilled recently to do some work on behalf of Black Professionals in Life Sciences (BPLS), https://bpls.org.uk/, an organisation that empowers and nurtures ethnically diverse professionals at all stages of their careers, offering career development support through networking, mentorship, and coaching to those who are historically underrepresented in the Life Sciences. Their vision is a future where the Life Science industry mirrors the rich diversity of UK society, where Black and Ethnically Diverse professionals are not only represented but thriving in their chosen field.

John and Amina of BPLS came to us for help with expanding their existing brand to increase its versatility and creating a brand guide for future use. As well as updating the brand fonts and logo to be more accessible, we also added some contrasting warm tones to their existing colour palette and created a suite of icons for use across a number of different applications. Their enthusiasm and receptiveness as a client made for a very gratifying creative process, allowing us to develop their existing brand into a strong, flexible visual identity that will enable them to produce future branded materials with confidence.

At Artery Digital, we love partnering with organisations that are making the world a better place. We’re passionate about achieving equity of opportunity for all people and we feel so fortunate to be able to support BPLS in their mission.
